Our client, a construction company based in Liberia is looking for an experienced Onsite Quality control Inspector to join their team. Ensure the quality of works and materials on construction sites by ensuring compliance with company norms and technical specifications.
Responsibilities
- Inspection and verification of materials and works on construction sites.
- Conduct detailed on-site inspections of ongoing construction projects.
- Verify adherence to local, state, and federal building code requirements.
- Examine structural quality, safety, and conformity of construction materials and practices.
- Review and interpret plans, blueprints, site layouts, and specifications.
- Communicate effectively with contractors, engineers, and project managers to address any compliance or safety issues discovered during inspections.
- Attend project meetings to provide insights and updates on construction progress.
- Recommend corrective actions and follow up to ensure that they are implemented.
- Regular documentation and quality control reports.
- Management and follow-up of non-conformities and corrective actions.
- Coordination with site managers and on-site teams.
- Raising awareness of quality standards among teams.
Requirements
- Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or relevant field.
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in quality control on construction sites.
- Strong knowledge of building codes, construction procedures, and safety regulations.
- Familiarity with engineering and construction terminology and practices.
- Ability to read and understand complex building plans and blueprints.
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
