Our client based in Tanzania, is looking for an experienced Butler/Valet to join their team.
Responsibilities
- Ensuring a high level of comfort and service at all times for the client as well as for their family and guests.
- Managing the principal's wardrobes in all aspects to an exceptional high standard of detail, this will include laundering, dry cleaning, mending, ironing, etc.
- Store, organize and maintain clothing, as well as create and continually update a detailed inventory of the principal's wardrobe contents including footwear, accessories and other personal belongings.
- Responsible for clothing and footwear: laying it out, ensuring it is in good condition and appropriately stored.
- Preparing the client's travel luggage, making sure to pack all necessary and appropriate clothing, toiletries, documents and other items.
- Looking after the client's private apartments and rooms ensuring that they are kept to a high standard of cleanliness, topping up supplies, and generally arranging everything with a view to their employer's personal preferences and needs.
- Ensure the client receives the same standard of service as in his/her own home when travelling
- Managing and overseeing the operations of the household, including budget and stock levels. This will also include tasks such as overseeing the cleaning and maintenance of the home.
- Arranging for repairs and renovations, managing the household budget, and coordinating the schedules of other household staff members.
- Greeting and welcoming guests at the door, making dining and entertainment arrangements, and keeping guest rooms up to standards.
- Overseeing table settings, serving meals, pouring drinks, and performing other duties associated with formal entertaining. Will be responsible for arranging all Utensils and Cutlery on Class and Standard of Event and Guests both at the Residence and on Travel.
- Arranging daily schedule with assisting Staffs and needed equipment; from Dress Code, Vehicles, Script -Timing from Waking Up, Physical Workouts schedules, Food, Dressing, Change of Dressing, Travel Time etc.
- Managing Music and TV entertainment in all Residences; and Vehicle Suit and Entertain both Principle and Guests.
Requirements
- Proven work experience as a Butler, Valet or similar role
- Neat appearance and upkeep of uniform
- Excellent customer service skills
- Relevant training and/or certifications
- Should have knowledge of expensive fabric and how to handle the same.
- Utterly loyal, with a great capacity to comprehend the client's preferences and needs.
